It appears that there will be yet another empty seat at Notre Dame’s commencement this May.  Mary Ann Glendon, former ambassador to the Vatican, has announced that she will not attend the ceremony or accept the Laetare Medal.  The fulltext of her letter to Father President, made public today, is below:

Annual Eucharistic Procession at Notre Dame
